General Terms and Conditions

1. BTRC Regulatory Compliance

The subscriber must strictly adhere to all rules, regulations, directives, and guidelines prescribed by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for IPTSP services.

Subscribers are required to comply with all applicable telecommunication laws and statutory requirements of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

2. Illegal Use & IP Telephony Prohibition

Use of this IPTSP line or account for illegal call termination, fraudulent activities, or unauthenticated foreign calls is strictly prohibited.

Any illegal, unauthorized, or suspicious transmission will result in immediate suspension or permanent disconnection of the IPTSP service without prior notice, and the matter will be reported to BTRC and relevant law enforcement agencies.

3. Credential Security

Subscribers must not share their account passwords, credentials, SIP authentication details, or access with unauthorized third parties.

The Subscriber remains fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their IPTSP credentials and all activities occurring under their account.

4. Subscriber Identification

The Subscriber shall provide all necessary documents and information (such as NID, Passport, Trade License, and TIN for Corporate subscribers) required to verify their identity, legal status, and eligibility to subscribe to the services. IDEATEC Ltd. reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all submitted information.

If any information provided by the Subscriber is found to be false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent, IDEATEC Ltd. may suspend, disconnect, or permanently terminate the service without prior notice.

The Subscriber must promptly notify IDEATEC Ltd. of any changes to previously submitted information. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of the service at IDEATEC Ltd.'s sole discretion.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information designated as confidential and received during the course of the service relationship.

Confidential information may only be disclosed if it is already publicly available through no breach of this agreement, was lawfully known to the receiving party before disclosure, or disclosure is required by applicable law, BTRC regulations, or court order.

6. Ownership of Equipment

All network infrastructure, equipment, devices, cables, routers (where applicable), and related materials supplied by IDEATEC Ltd. remain the sole property of IDEATEC Ltd. unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Upon termination of the service, the Subscriber shall return any equipment owned by IDEATEC Ltd. in good working condition, subject to reasonable wear and tear.

7. Service Activation

IDEATEC Ltd. will make reasonable efforts to activate the subscribed service within the agreed installation timeframe.

In the event of unavoidable delays, IDEATEC Ltd. will inform the Subscriber as soon as reasonably practicable and provide an updated installation schedule whenever possible.

8. Delivery Time

All orders placed through our website are processed and delivered within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of successful order confirmation and payment, unless otherwise specified on the product or service page.

We strive to complete delivery as early as possible; however, under normal circumstances, the maximum delivery period shall not exceed 7 days.

9. Bandwidth Contention Ratio

Unless otherwise specified, all residential internet packages are provided with a 1:8 contention ratio.

This means the available bandwidth may be shared among up to eight subscribers during peak usage periods to ensure efficient network utilization.

Actual internet speed may vary depending on network congestion, server performance, destination, routing conditions, and other technical factors beyond IDEATEC Ltd.'s control.

10. Prohibition of Connection Sharing

The Subscriber shall not resell, redistribute, extend, or share the subscribed internet or IPTSP connection with any third party for commercial or non-commercial purposes without prior written approval from IDEATEC Ltd.

Any unauthorized sharing, resale, or commercial redistribution shall constitute a material breach of this agreement and may result in immediate service termination, permanent disconnection, and legal action where applicable.

11. Service Availability

While IDEATEC Ltd. strives to provide uninterrupted connectivity and telecommunication services, continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.

IDEATEC Ltd. shall not be held liable for service interruptions, reduced speeds, outages, maintenance windows, fiber cuts, utility failures, natural disasters, government actions, cyber attacks, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

12. Billing and Payments

Subscription charges must be paid on or before the due date stated on the invoice, billing portal, or subscriber account.

Failure to make payment within the specified period may result in temporary suspension or disconnection of the service. Service restoration may be subject to payment of all outstanding dues and any applicable reconnection fees.

13. Privacy and Security

IDEATEC Ltd. implements industry-standard security measures to protect its network infrastructure.

However, no internet service can guarantee complete protection against cyber threats, malware, phishing, unauthorized access, or other online risks. Subscribers are responsible for maintaining appropriate security measures on their own devices, including antivirus software, firewalls, password security, and regular software updates.

14. Technical Support

IDEATEC Ltd. provides technical support for issues directly related to its network and internet/IPTSP services.

Support for customer-owned devices, third-party software, operating systems, networking equipment, smart devices, or applications may be limited and, where applicable, may be subject to additional service charges.

15. Installation and Connection Charges

Installation and connection charges vary depending on the selected package, service location, infrastructure requirements, promotional offers, and installation complexity.

Certain packages may include minimum subscription periods or downgrade charges. IDEATEC Ltd. reserves the right to revise installation fees, package pricing, and related charges, with updated information made available at the time of subscription or upon request.

16. Amendments

IDEATEC Ltd. reserves the right to amend, revise, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time in compliance with BTRC directives.

Any modifications will be communicated through appropriate channels, including the official website, customer portal, email, SMS, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

17. Limitation of Liability & Subscriber Responsibility

IDEATEC Ltd. shall not bear any liability for illegal, unauthorized, or suspicious activities conducted through this account. The subscriber assumes full legal responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IDEATEC Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, profits, goodwill, or data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the services.

The Subscriber acknowledges that telecommunication and IPTSP services are provided on a best-effort basis, subject to technical limitations and network conditions.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.
